International Law Firm Moving Administrative Operations to Kansas City

San Francisco-based Sedgwick LLP has selected Kansas City, Mo., for the firm’s shared services center, creating 100 information technology, human resources, marketing and financial services jobs. The firm is evaluating multiple office properties in downtown Kansas City.

 Sedgwick evaluated multiple cities for the location of its shared services center, including Raleigh, N.C., and Indianapolis. The Kansas City area was chosen for its urban setting, operating costs, talent availability and quality as well as its central location.
