Roswell (Ga.) Business Alliance has new Name and Look

roswell new brand

The Roswell Business Alliance, located in Roswell, Ga., has unveiled its new identity. Roswell Business Alliance, the economic development public/private partnership with the city of Roswell, announces it will now be known as Roswell Inc., effective immediately. The new name also comes with an updated logo and branding initiative.

The new logo, tagline and name showcase and demonstrate what the organization represents. Steve Stroud, the executive director for Roswell Inc., says “This change allows us to better communicate who we are, what our mission is and where the organization is headed. Our tagline – Building Business, Connecting Community – emphasizes our focus on business retention and expansion, as well as the connection between a strong business environment and a healthy, thriving community.”

The new look will be implemented over the course of the next few months and will be in full effect when the organization launches a new website at the beginning of 2014.

“The logo, incorporating the symbol for brackets, has an interesting meaning behind it,” states Beckie Hawkins, communications manager for the organization. “Brackets, in one sense, are supportive structures and that is one of our main objectives – support for businesses, support for the city and support for the overall community.”

The organization, which has more than 500 local business and large corporation partners, will continue to serve its partners and offer the same programming. The new name allows the organization the opportunity to expand its efforts and assist in positioning the organization as a key economic development entity in North Fulton.

“We were outgrowing our name and needed something that would better incorporate all we do, such as welcoming new businesses, helping them walk through the entire process of opening a business in Roswell, hosting educational seminars and events for our partners, recruiting new companies to the area and partnering with state and regional entities,” Stroud says.
