German-based Festo Corp. Selects Cincinnati
Festo Corp. has announced a 250-job regional service center in Mason, Ohio. The company will build a $50 million, 175,000-square-foot facility on a 45-acre site. The facility will be located on the high-tech I-71 corridor, 20 miles from downtown Cincinnati.
Festo is a manufacturer of pneumatic and electromechanical systems, components, and controls for process control and factory automation solutions.The company’s new energy efficient and environmentally friendly facility in Mason will open in 2015 and will allow the company to double its capacity to serve North America.
The Cincinnati USA Partnership partnered with the city of Mason and JobsOhio to develop a competitive incentive package for the company.
