Sinaloa Board Launches New U.S. Website
The Mexican state of Sinaloa’s economic board, CODESIN, has launched www.sinaloaforbusiness.comto highlight opportunities available to U.S. businesses. The website aims to assist businesses in better understanding the state’s advantages for nearshoring operations. “Sinaloa’s proximity to the United States ensures that goods can rapidly reach the United States via our two ports and direct road and rail access, simplifying operations and eliminating the need for trans-oceanic shipping costs,” says Carlos Balderrama, executive president, CODESIN.
The state of Sinaloa spans nearly 300 miles along the Pacific Coast, from the world-famous resorts of Mazatlán to the northern border along the Gulf of California, and is only a half-day’s drive from Arizona or Texas. The staff of CODESIN is ready to work with companies in lining up talent, streamlining the permit process, locating facilities, and developing an ideal package of incentives.
